For over a century, Wilbur-Ellis has experienced success in marketing and distributing agricultural products and services.  Join us and grow your career with a strong and profitable industry leader offering competitive compensation, tremendous growth and development opportunities, and a people-first work environment.  \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nIn a nutshell:\r\n\r\nWe are seeking an Agricultural Field Services professional who will have an important role in ensuring proper set-up services of agricultural equipment either for customer or branch use, including providing transportation and equipment maintenance.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nA sampling of what you’ll do in this role:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tYour day-to-day role will include the opportunity to:\r\n\t\r\n\t\tOversee all aspects of field service support\r\n\t\tTake out, set up, and calibrate equipment to be used by the growers in the field\r\n\t\tOversee the daily maintenance of all applications and support equipment at the branch facility. This may include trucks, tractors, implements and any other support equipment assigned to that specific branch.\r\n\t\tMove and set-up tanks as needed\r\n\t\tAttend product training sessions and meetings when necessary\r\n\t\tEnsure that the correct materials are being used at all times and that safety gear is properly used at all time\r\n\t\tOperate vehicles and equipment in a safe and legal manner\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tYou will interact with Wilbur-Ellis customers and branches and therefore, you will:\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPresent a professional image to our customers through personal appearance and overall branch cleanliness.\r\n\t\tInteract with customers in a professional manner.\r\n\t\tContact a salesperson to resolve any disputes.\r\n\t\tAttend product training sessions and meetings when necessary\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you bring to the role:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh School Diploma or equivalent\r\n\tImportant “musts”:\r\n\t\r\n\t\tForklift Driver and Driving Certification (offered on the job)\r\n\t\tValid driver’s license with Class A CDL\r\n\t\tMechanical skills and understanding of fabrication techniques\r\n\t\tWillingness to operate material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, pallet jack and other equipment as required\r\n\t\tAbility to repetitively bend and lift boxes and bags up to 80 lbs.\r\n\t\tWilling and desire to work overtime hours during busy seasons\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tKnowledge and/or experience with agricultural operations (preferred)\r\n\tExcellent interpersonal skills between both customers and fellow employees\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe details you want to know:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tIn compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $20.58 - $26.09 per hour.  Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience.  This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits. \r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nJoin Wilbur-Ellis – a company you can be proud to call your employer with a proven 100 years of success and growth, all thanks to our people!
