JOB DESCRIPTION/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Set up and operate machine which forms sheet metal to blueprint specification as known as the forming cell. To produce completed formed parts from a provided blank to a specified print dimension. Operator will be required to complete all set-ups, move stock, mark loads, and inspect finished parts. Operator will also be responsible for cleaning of the machine as well as the area. Must demonstrate ability to do basic math, read blueprints, and use measuring instruments. Must be qualified or held a grade 8 position or pass a grade 8 test. Must be able to pass test for powered industrial truck driver’s license.
Required Skills
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Required Experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lift/Carry up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 55 lbs occasionally.
Stand up to 100% of the time.
Push/pull up to 55 lbs. frequently.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
This position is subject to a skills-based, hands-on testing evaluation.
