Job Description:
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the College landscape and snow removal. The Groundskeeper will assist other trades as needed.
Essential Functions:
Perform all aspects of lawn, tree/shrub, and planting bed maintenance, irrigation and health care. Perform all aspects of artificial turf field maintenance.
Inspect and maintain all grounds equipment.
Maintain campus signage.
Perform all aspects of snow removal.
Assist with trash and recyclables collection and disposal.
Assist Special Work Assignment Team on college events.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED is required
Entry level position no experience is required
Valid PA drivers license is required
Forklift/aerial lift certification within 1 year of hire is required
Certified chemical applicators license or tech within 6 months of hire is required
Ability and willingness to provide excellent service and to work in a collegial manner with students, faculty and staff, and other constituencies is essential.
Because this position requires driving for college business, the successful candidate must possess a U.S. or Canadian driver's license which has been valid for at least two years, have a driving record that is free from excessive motor vehicle violations within the last three years, and have had no convictions in the last 24 months for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Additional Information:
Offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of reference checks, a criminal background verification, and verification of credentials. The College will coordinate these verifications.
