SUMMARY
Inuit Services, Inc. (Inuit), a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Supply Technician for Fort Wainwright. The Supply Technician works in broad aspects of supply and material management related to stocking, organization, distribution, ordering, and record maintenance as needed to meet the requirements of the Base Maintenance Contract and installation support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are
not
intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.
Enters hours and materials daily into GFEBS, maintain contract compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for data entry into GFEBS
Maintains facility files by contract requirements in a neat, orderly, and timely manner
Responsible for inventory management of decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies and equipment
Forecasting, distribution or redistribution of material, procurement authorization, with limited funds management, or other related work
Coordinates material requirements for special programs, maintenance, or production shops and supply transactions
Locates and moves materials to specified areas using a cart, hand truck, or other material handling equipment, including a forklift
Prioritize, track, and maintain quality control of records for work orders, goods, and other materials
Update and maintain inventory records
Performs clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping and receiving materials, equipment, and other supplies required for operations
Verify, maintain, and track work orders, inventory, and requisitions to work within a framework of established supply regulations, policies, and procedures of governing manual and documents
Ensure that CFM complies with government contractual legislation and codes of practice
Maintain Inventories, CA/CRL FOB, Benchstock, CFM equipment, and Government/Company listings 
Moves heavy items to including parts and materials, office furniture, appliances, domestic furniture, and DRMO related items
Maintain Materials Acquisitions Plan, the Custodian Authorization/Custody Receipt Listings (CA/CRL) requirements for all government furnished equipment
Maintain and process the Found on Base (FOB) and Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DMRO) inventory
Supports the project Safety Plan through personal involvement in all aspects of safety, including training and attention to the adherence to safety requirements pertaining to particular trades or skills
This position has been designated as Mission Critical.  Mission Critical personnel are defined as those required to meet the Installation’s safety (including inclement weather) and security needs during lockdown conditions.
This position may be part of an emergency management/response team as required by the company to meet contract requirements

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Operations and Maintenance services supporting a military base or civilian installation
Possession of a valid driver’s license
A minimum of one (1) year of successful (related) experience and performance in a military or civilian workforce
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Possess good organization and communication skills, as well as maturity and ability to deal with all levels of people, both inside and outside the company.
Must be able to read, write, speak and, understand English.
Proficient in computer programs is required for job activities
Must be proficient with government computer programs and databases
Preferred
Emergency Management/Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
Job is performed both in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system and outside which may be dirty, dusty, and greasy with spray and fumes usually present. During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise. Protective equipment and clothing, such as safety shoes, earplugs, safety glasses or sun glasses, gloves, rain gear, hard hats, respirators, and other protective gear are required, which are sometimes heavy, hot, and uncomfortable. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting or outside in the area of operations. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
