As a Senior Maintenance Supervisor, you plan and oversee maintenance repairs, equipment installations and the operation of all production equipment for one of the world’s largest pork processing facilities. Direct, coordinate and support maintenance personnel; work with contractors’ vendors and company engineering staff to modify, install, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems.

Supervise a group of mechanics that perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities. Maintain relevant records. Ensure OSHA safety standards and programs are implemented according to guidelines. Manage and maintain equipment for High Pressure Boiler, Compressed Air System Hot Water Generation and HVAC systems and comply with Process Safety Management Standards. Coordinate mechanics’ schedules and time and attendance records. Lead mechanics in safety and initiatives to develop ways to improve ergonomics in the facility. Other duties as assigned. Basic computer skills required to check emails, data enter information into document templates and create simple queries.

High school diploma or equivalent required; education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses preferred.

Must have 1 years' prior work experience in Fresh Meats beef or pork processing industry. Preference also given to candidates with Anhydrous Ammonia Mechanical Refrigeration and High-Pressure Boiler maintenance and management. Preference given to candidates with 3 plus years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance.
