Tasks: This position is responsible for performing general cleanup, housekeeping, janitorial, light construction, painting, and other miscellaneous tasks both inside and outside of the facility and throughout the plant grounds. The position will provide support for storeroom activities and will fill in for vacations/absences as needed. Applicant, when directed will perform PMs/inspections supporting, facility, and grounds. As a member of the Maintenance Department, team member is expected to provide timely, response/support as needed to production operations and may be required to assist in other areas of the Maintenance department. Must be able to read and understand manuals, must have basic math skills, execute and document work completed and have strong written and oral communications skills. Must be able to bend, climb, twist, lift and able to work in all environments of our processing facility. Must be able to work assigned shifts and weekends. Applicant will abide by GMP and SSOP, must have and maintain 4 or less attendance points, adhere to all safety policies and perform other duties as necessary and as assigned by department lead and/or supervisor.

Requirements: Technical training in any maintenance related field and/or prior applicable job related experience is preferred. External candidate must be willing to submit to a drug screen and post offer health assessment.

This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and repairs, and landscaping tasks, while maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
