Job Details:

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Individual will be responsible for monitoring smokehouses (either batch or continuous) and its corresponding freezer(s). Individual will record tree weights on paper and EIM Hand Held. Document lot sizes and pickle content of bellies placed on trees. Monitor smokehouse internal temperatures and liquid smoke acidity levels in the liquid smoke cabinet. Set up smokehouses and liquid smoke cabinets before shift. Individual must be able to work in a Freezer (Blast Cooler). Individual must be able to operate a calculator for determining weights and measures. Applicant must have strong communication skills to be able to communicate with various members of management, Quality Assurance, vendors and USDA.

Requirements

Team Members with 6 pts (6 instances) or more will not be considered. Also Team Members with a written warning or a suspension in the last 6 months will not be considered. Team Member must have completed their probationary period.
