And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.CDL-A Dedicated Local Truck Driver/ Switcher Benefits: Competitive pay: Starting pay $18 per hour Top pay $21 per hour reached within 12 months Average up to 40-45 hours a week Overtime applies after 40 hours per week 95%-yard switching, 5% DOT regulated driving Home daily All switcher positions operate on a 4 and 3 day schedule every other week Meaning week 1, you will work 4 days and off 3. Next week will work 3 days and off 4 These are further broken down into shift groups, let your recruiter know which one you are interested in: 1 opening for shift B: Night shift: 6 p.m. start time, week 1: Mon, Tue, Wed, and Thu. Week 2: Mon, Tue, and Wed Shift differential pay of $1, start at $19 / hour, reach top pay of $22 / hour in 12 months 1 opening for shift C: Morning shift: 6 a.m. start time, week 1: Fri, Sat, and Sun. Week 2: Thu, Fri, Sat, and Sun 2 openings for shift D: Night shift: 6 p.m. start time, week 1: Fri, Sat, and Sun. Week 2: Thu, Fri, Sat, and Sun Shift differential pay of $1, start at $19 / hour, reach top pay of $22 / hour in 12 months Ensuring the timely movement of trailers in and out of the docks on-site at the customer's location May be required to perform local/ hourly runs depending on the customer's need.
