NAM is divided in two Assets: OneGas and Onshore NL. Onshore NL covers all oil and gas production on land and consists of Production Unit North NL, East NL and West NL. North NL consists of the Underground Storage (UGS), the Groningen Gas field, and Small Fields North NL.

The team operates in a complex political field with many stakeholders. The (Senior) Operations Technician in day to day (D2D) operations is responsible for “operating within the operating window” (safe production) and execution of all activities in accordance with regulations and applicable (Operations) work instructions. Specific attention will be required for Ensure Safe Production (ESP), Ensure Planned Delivery (EPD) and Control of Work.

What is the role about?

In the role of (Senior) Operations Technician D2D your key responsibilities are to act as a role model for HSE behaviour, for personal and process safety, including reporting/follow up from (potential) incidents and/or unsafe situations.

You will be responsible for the day to day production, “operating within the operating window”, and safe execution of all activities.

The (Senior) Operations Technician role is a day time role within the Asset. You will be Focal Point for operation in the field and will be trained to develop into the role of “Locatie Verantwoorlijk Persoon”.

The production tasks include:

•Meeting gas quality and quantity specifications.

•Deliver the production target as nominated by the customers.

•Responsible for monitoring the status of the installation to ensure contractual deliveries.

•Responsible for the preparation, safe execution and close out of all Operational activities and aspects.

•Methodical investigations (using 5WHY) of Production upset, trips or outages to prevent reoccurrence.

•Carry out or assist in Safeguarding Production systems/equipment for Maintenance or other activities, including shutting down and starting up the Plant or parts of the Plant (systems).

•Supports the improvement of Production, Availability, Cost and optimization of Maintenance

•Supports the operating of the Hoogezand Coordination and Dispatching Centre(HCDC)

Requirements:

What do we need from you?

Our ideal candidate would have the following skills and attitude:

• Experienced Operations professional or similar with an extensive production and processing knowledge and experience

• Strong Safety Focus, including i.r.t. operational and maintenance activities, including third parties

• Experience in areas of Maintenance, Activity Scheduling, Well Services is appreciated.

• Experience with operational risk evaluation and control before and during execution of activities

• Supervision and coaching capabilities

• Candidate is required to have good communication and leadership skills

• Driver License B is required as the job includes travelling between various locations

• Fluent in Dutch, speak and written, as much of the documentation and manuals are in Dutch

• Able to communicate in English
