The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for conducting routine and non-routine phases of the manufacture of electrical submersible petroleum pump cable and/or rubber moulded products.
Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ability to use measuring instruments and understand specifications
Ability and willingness to work all 3 shifts, rotate shifts and work overtime
Ability to problem solve and have troubleshooting skills
Monitors assigned equipment and performs adjustments as needed
Communicates effectively to all levels of the organization
Understand safe work practices and apply them accordingly
Decision making skills on product quality based on specifications and visual observations
Record necessary data and as well as perform computer input and retrieval completely and accurately
Works independently of others as well as with team members, area managers, and support personnel
Successfully complete required safety training (including but not limited to forklift, drug and alcohol, electrical, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving)
Qualifications and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1 – 3 Years mechanical and/or manufacturing experience
Forklift operating experience preferred
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
