Job Description Entry level - no experience required!
Noncertified candidates start at $17.50, candidates with a CDL Class B start at $18.50
Dayshift only, weekends as required (on call situations)

Upon receiving proper training, the O&M Technician will perform all tasks required to operate and maintain a wastewater treatment facility including but not limited to
• lawn mowing,
• grounds keeping,
• snow shoveling,
• routine maintenance and repair of various equipment,
• sample collecting,
• lab testing,
• observation of equipment and process operations,
• use of ladders and stairs, and chemical handling
Knowledge of the repair, maintenance, and construction of water and sewer lines and related components
Knowledge of chemical settling and filtration processes as applicable to water treatment
Knowledge of health and safety standards and precautions pertaining to utilities operations and maintenance procedures.
Working experience in the operation of job related equipment including lawn mowers, dump trucks, and hand and power tools.
Ability to develop, organize, and manage records and reports pertinent to the activities supervised.
Strong desire to establish and maintain effective working relationships, teams, and work groups with other employees, contractors and the general public.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Thorough knowledge and the ability to use computers and applications for the utility profession
