POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Superintendent
is responsible for the processing and physical distribution of all finished case orders and all parent roll shipments, with emphasis on the management of the warehouse personnel and the implementation of warehouse logistic action plans.
REPORTING
The Warehouse Superintendent reports to the Logistics Manager.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide direct daily supervision of warehouse personnel to ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the warehouse and achieve prescribed objectives
Manage employee performance, and administer corrective action when appropriate and ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures
Develop and implement shipping and receiving work schedules and assignments to assure effective and efficient operation
Assist Logistics Manager in planning space utilization to meet prescribed cost standards
Manage proper stock rotation and quality of product to include off site locations. Assist in conducting physical inventories as required
Supervise all inbound/outbound shipments to ensure they are correct and carried out in a timely fashion
Work to maintain the operational budget and assist in developing the budget when required
Ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followed
Review warehouse operations daily to ensure the warehouse is neat, secure and well organized, and that damage to product, equipment, and the facility is prevented
Ensure that all records and reports regarding warehouse activities are prepared on a timely basis and effectively maintained
Provide backup in absence of the Logistics Manager and complete other assignments and projects as requested by manager
May participate in hiring decisions of new employees
Manage inventory process ensuring accuracy through physical counts, cycle counts
Accountable for driving daily, monthly and yearly KPI’s
Responsible for carrier scheduling and retention as well as assisting with unloads and pre-loads
Assist with freight inspection of 3

party vendor
Oversee Trailer Shuttle activities; Internal and offsite Plant Moves
Manage the Drop Trailer Yards by providing direction to Yard Shuttle Coordinator
All Supervisory personnel are responsible to ensure that their employees have the needed competencies to apply the operating procedures so that environmental controls are adequately implemented.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma required with preference for a BS Degree in a Supply chain or related Business field
5 years Supervisory experience, preferably in warehouse/distribution and/or related industrial leadership
Communicates effectively both in writing and verbally
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Conducts training programs and makes group presentation
Plans and organizes work activities, manage work time efficiently
Proven complex analytical skills as well as ability to develop sound recommendations and solutions
Partners with managers and employees to positively impact business results
Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for independent judgment and successful outcomes
Office procedures, methods, including computers and applicable Microsoft Office and other applicable software and databases
Consistent track record for executing performance objectives an delivering results
Maintaining high energy as well as a pleasant and professional demeanor
Key Competencies including: candor/integrity, influencing & building partnerships, team work, accountability, problem solving, and customer focus
