Job Description Optimizes the efficiency of the Maintenance Department by providing short term and long term planning / scheduling that increases work output while minimizing wasted effort.
Qualifications PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for estimating time and specifying materials, equipment, and manpower on maintenance work orders. 
Coordinate parts and materials availability with work orders to allow timely completion of maintenance tasks.  
Schedule and plan preventive, routine maintenance, and shutdown work activities.  
Responsible for managing data input into the work order system.
Responsible for managing a work order backlog. 
Assist in forecasting contractor manpower requirements and track and report daily manpower usage when needed.
Write purchase order requisitions and contractor service agreements.
Review work order requests and correct deficiencies.
Communicate with operations to effectively plan and schedule work in accordance with their needs and their operating schedules.
Complete safe work permits for contractors.
Sign contractor time sheets and return them to purchasing daily for tracking of costs.
Attend mechanic’s morning meeting to get feedback, adjust schedule, and be informed of emergency jobs.
Other duties as assigned.
