Job Details:
The position can pay $14.90 to $20.40/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. We have open positions for first shift.

This facility operates five days a week and produces Sausage Patties, Sausage Links and Roll Sausage.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The roles shown below require learning how to maintain sharp tools to perform their job task correctly. Average training time may require 2-3 months. A person will be leveraging the tools to make precision cuts to carcass and removal of the hide to achieve desired carcass yield.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ALL POSITIONS:
Responsible for operating a powered tool to perform job task and using two handed safety controls
Must adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies
Responsible for setting up area with all needed equipment
Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor
Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent
Skin Air Knife Operator 6 Responsibilities:
Use of tools for this role will be different from the other roles
Skin Air Knife Operator 8 Responsibilities:
Responsible for operating a power tool
Responsible for operating ergonomic lift stand by using dual foot controls to position operator at correct work height
Hide Skinner Operator Responsibilities:
Operating hide puller to remove hide from carcasses while also able to remark hide & re–pull hides as needed while being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
External: Must have at least 3 months previous manufacturing work experience with a single employer within the last 18 months.
May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50lbs
Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals
Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods up to 8 to 12 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours
Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment
Must be willing and able to complete cycles in less than 10 to 30 seconds
Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Vaccine verification will be required by October 1, 2021 for Corporate based team members and by November 1, 2021 for Plant and Warehousing based team members.
