Machine Operators

Wages starting from $17.00 to $23.50 per hour. Work three days a week, ten hours a day. Come work 27 hour and get paid 36.

This position is responsible for setting up and operating equipment used in the manufacturing of food products while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Operator shares the responsibility for the equipment, product and team members in the work area, and will be cross trained in all positions. Operator must be able to set-up the equipment, change packaging supplies, and adjust the equipment throughout the shift, as well as assist in manual packing & palletizing as needed. The Operators functions as an assistant to the Lead, reports all issues to the Lead or Supervisor. Helps set-up, breakdown and washes equipment and area when necessary.

Requirements

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to bend, twist, stand and walk. Ability to work in heat, hot, humid, dry and cold conditions. Ability to work from floor level to overhead level. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Willingness to be lock out/tag out certified. Willingness to get forklift trained and certified.
