Job Description:
The Laboratory Tech Analyst will be a part of Shell Brazil's Lubricants and Supply Chain and will be reporting to the Laboratory and Quality Manager. The position will be responsible of the following:
Perform chemistry analysis for lubricants and greases (Periodic and batch quality tests – raw material, blending, filling, bulk samples);
New formulations review of lubricants and greases (focus on cost improving and production production feasibility at the plant);
Samples production for performance tests on customers;
Production on laboratory scale to evaluate quality incidents or low performance in the process;
Lead samples shipment process to perform external analysis (Brazil and another countries);
Customer Quality Incidents evaluation and analysis (application and technology background);
Participate and support RFT and reb-lending discussions with the plant team, to ensure targets achieving;
Formulation of products to produce at the plant using SAP and blend optimizer;
Execute calculations for blending corrections when necessary;
Update SAP status for products after chemistry analysis (SAP and another applications);
Provide certificate of analysis for customers.

Attend SLA agreed with internal stakeholders
Ensure reliability of laboratory equipment
Contribute proactively to reduce re-blending events
Contribute proactively to maintain Quality Management System (IATF 16949 e ISO 9001)
Contribute proactively to maintain Environment Management System (ISO 14000)
Skills & Requirements:
Must have legal authorization to work in the Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
At least have a Chemistry Technician degree.
CRQ active is mandatory
At least four (4) years work experience in a similar role preferably in a Lubricants plant.
Lubricants and greases chemistry analysys (ASTM ans ISO methods)
Plant operation (Quality Control)
Lubricants technical services
Basics statistics
Metrology
Advance skills in oral and written English.
Knowledge on MS-Office and SAP
