Location: Fresh Processing Plant - Medium Bird
Position: Maintenance Refrigeration Lead - RG08L
Work Shift: 1st Shift
This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly.
This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all assigned equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Must be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40 pounds for some positions. Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level.
Be willing to stand 8- 10 hours a day.
Must be willing to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas.
Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience or one year refrigeration/HVAC experience or training/certification equivalent is required.
Must be Ammonia Certified
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
8 hour shifts
