Description
Humana Pharmacy is seeking enthusiastic Pharmacy Technicians and Technicians in Training for full time career opportunities in our Dispensing Department.
Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Technician in Training : Individuals who are registered as a pharmacy technician trainee with their respective Board of Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician in Training 1 performs basic Pharmacy Technician administrative/clerical/operational/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.
Shift
: Monday - Friday 5:30 am - 4:00 pm (4 days/week - 10 hours/day )
The Pharmacy Technician in Training 1 must be authorized to participate in a pharmacy's/pharmacy organization's technician training program. Completes the certification program including passing all necessary exams as required by company policy. Registration, as applicable, with regulatory agencies must be maintained at all times and be unrestricted. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.
1000.00 Retention Bonus after 6 months of employment
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of technical experience
Must have an active Arizona Pharmacy Technician Trainee license with the Board of Pharmacy.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and comfortably lift 25lbs.
Desire to obtain PTCB certification.

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
