Job Details:
This position is responsible for unloading ingredients, collecting samples, and documentation of each load while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks: Stand or walk on concrete floor up to 6 days per week, up to 12 hours per shift. Lift more than 50 lbs. Use 8-12 lb. sledge hammer. Climb ladders or stairs. Work in elevated areas. Ride in an elevator or man-lift. Operate receiving equipment. Unload ingredient trucks. Clean and shovel out pits and scale area. Sweep floors. Assist in repair of equipment.
Requirements: Must have basic computer skills. Must have basic mechanical skills. Must be able to read and write for documentation. Must have valid Alabama Driver License with good driving record. Must be willing to rotate jobs. Must be willing to work flexible hours. Must be able to withstand extreme hot and cold environments. Feed or Blend Mill experience preferred, but not required.
