Coffee Field Service Technician

ESI was founded as a technical coffee service company in 1989; setting the standard for service quality and customer support in the specialty coffee industry. Intermix Beverage, our product division, was created to offer a full circle consumer experience. The goal is to help customers serve a high-quality and consistently prepared coffee beverage.
This role is responsible for performing installation, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer-owned and company-owned coffee equipment both at customer locations and in the shop. This position is also responsible for providing high-quality work and excellent customer service to ensure highly satisfied customers.
Position Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
All equipment is tagged appropriately and check-in form is filled out
Ensure all jobs are completed in FieldAware
Communicate with customers on the status of their repairs
Communicate parts/supplies shortages to Parts Coordinator or their manager
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop
Required to take a turn in the after hours on call rotation
Ensure security of the facility
Assist service technicians with installations and parts delivery
Check-in with their manager at the beginning and end of each day
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Certification/Degree
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Skills
Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured
Time management
Customer service skills
Oral and written communication skills
Troubleshooting skills
Ability to be a team player
Knowledge
Strong computer aptitude, including experience Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Working knowledge of multimeter
Vo-Tech school degree; or one to two years related experience and/or training with electrical and hydraulic systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience
