Profile
This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow and process efficiency, product quality, and team member training.
-The Lead sets up the department with tools and materials prior to the start of the shift.
-Assists with general appearance of the work area including wash down
-Fills in for the Supervisor when he/she is not in the area.
-Must have knowledge of proper crewing levels and how to maintain them.
-Gives breaks for the line personnel as needed and fills in for absenteeism as necessary.
-Be able to alert supervisor and management when problems arise
-Must be able to communicate properly with Team Members.
-Must be able to perform duties of all positions as required.
II. MUSCULAR/SKELETAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
-Must be able to maneuver freely throughout the plant
-Must be able to tolerate walking, standing for duration of shift
-Must be able to lift 40 pounds plus
-Must be able to use hands, lifting, bending, twisting
