Job Details:

This position starts at $18.65/hr. with a potential for overtime. We have an open position for 2nd shift.

Position Description:

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position uses an electric powered pallet jack to help keep continuous processing in the Derind Department by transporting combos of raw bellies to processing lines. Must communicate with department supervisor to ensure proper bellies are being supplied. Additionally, monitor cleanliness of the pallet jack, bring supply pallets out at the beginning of shift, and return them at the end of shift, keep up with combo labels and scan them into process orders, keep up with weights per house, and complete maintenance inspection check list and distribute as required.

Requirements:

A minimum work history of 12 consecutive months in the previous 18 months. (can be with multiple employers)

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Will need to be able to wear proper safety equipment.

Must be able and willing to work week-ends and overtime.

Must be able to complete and pass the Power Industrial Truck (PIT) training class and tests.

Constant walking is required.

Must be able to understand safety rules and warnings.
