Job Description Under the direction of the Shift Lead / and or Maintenance Manager, plans, assists, and organizes the operations of the Wastewater Treatment Facility at the Lynn Massachusetts Operations. Coordinates and participates in contractual obligations as required by contract.  Performs day to day operations/activities at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Wastewater Operator is expected to cross train and be able to perform the daily rounds at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, operate specialized equipment and check wastewater pump stations. The Lynn Project consists of a staff of 34 for wastewater treatment operations, and all employees assist as needed in all departments. Day to day operations include:

Perform Daily Rounds

Perform Daily Lab Work

Operate and Maintain specialized equipment

Troubleshooting Issues at the Wastewater Facility or pumping stations

Complete Work Orders

Perform Sample Collection

Ability to Work Overtime as needed and on-call rotation once qualified

Qualifications Core Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Valid Driver’s License

Massachusetts Grade I-IV Wastewater License (preferred but not required), open to training
