Feed Mill Maintenance Night Shift-Camilla GA

Profile

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Applicants will be considered for opening on 3rd Shift. Temperature will vary with outside ambient temperature and humidity. It can be dusty, warm and humid.

Job Duties may include but not limited to:

· Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction in the Feed mill

· Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems

· Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations

· Lubricate equipment with various grease and oils

· Perform preventive maintenance according to a posted schedule on data stream

· Complete appropriate paperwork and reports

· QI (qualified Individual) for this area

· Must comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs

· Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs

· Able to perform diagnosis and repairs without supervision

· Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision

· Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed

· Perform janitorial services if needed

· Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

· Minimum experience of two years in Maintenance or Maintenance related field

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Understanding of computerized preventative maintenance programs

· Ability to understand technical mechanical concepts

· Excellent communication skills

· Strong organization skills
