The Senior Security Professional protects the organization's employees, properties, and all items of value on premises from any preventable harm or danger. The Senior Security Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
Humana is seeking a Senior Security Professional to support our growing business operations. The role will work under the direction supervision of the Director of Security towards company and department strategic goals and objectives, and will assist in designing, developing, implementing and improving the security processes across the organization to reduce risk, respond to incidents, and limit exposure to liability. This role will assist the Director of Security in the identification of significant investigative safety and security risks, while designing and implementing strategies and programs to prevent/reduce loss of organizational assets.
Key Responsibilities include:
Leads multidisciplinary working groups to design, develop and operationalize security solutions and mitigate risks for high risk associates/contractors and brokers.
Leads in developing proactive investigative threat mitigation strategies in such areas as Home-Care visits by associates, contractors and vendors working as agents of Humana.
Researches, analyzes and develops threat and risk notification systems that serve to support leadership and working group information networks.
Assists in the continual review of programs to support Humana's asset protection program, including the analysis and calibration of the Safety and Security service delivery model that safeguard Humana People, and Property and company reputation.
Partners in managing the enterprise incident response apparatus and law enforcement liaison throughout the regions in which the company conducts business.
Serve as the primary touch-point for investigations, monitoring, analysis, and interpretation of risks and threats that may affect the associates working in clients/members' homes through multi-modal communication (video, voice/phone, radio, text/email, Internet apps, etc.).
Develop the standards of timely communications and actionable intelligence to support the protection of people, assets/intellectual property and infrastructure of properties and related interests/entities.
On a daily basis, identify and communicate any and all critical investigations requiring the attention of senior management in accordance with critical incident reporting procedures.
Develop and perform analysis, planning, performance measures (i.e. Key Progress Indicators - KPIs) and provide direction in order to ensure that the program is delivering maximum value to leadership and key stakeholders.
Implement and maintain a formal (i.e. resulting in artifacts/ deliverables and outcomes) continuous improvement lifecycle approach to security operations, routinely and iteratively assessing operations and performance and identifying/implementing lessons-learned and data-driven enhancements.
Ensure procedures and protocols are in place to enable the timely and effective response to, and management of incidents, alarms, notifications, calls and other activities related to the Home Care and third party central monitoring support.

Role Essentials:
Bachelor degree, in an area of study relevant to criminal justice and/or business management/finance.
Strong knowledge and understanding of business, financial terms and budgeting practices to support investigations and subsequent risk mitigation strategies.
Proven leadership and project management skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Maintains a professional, pleasant demeanor in stressful situations and handles conflict well.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, pay close attention to detail, be well organized, and work successfully in a fast paced environment.

Role Desirables:
Experience with a major corporation and/or law enforcement or intelligence preferred Possesses minimum of 10 years of experience in law enforcement and/or experience In-Home risk reduction strategies, fraud identification.
