FORKLIFT OPERATOR

POWER INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (P.I.E.)

LYNCHBURG, VA

 

NEW INCREASED PAY RATE $16/HR

 

DESCRIPTION:

*Safely operates standup picker and other power industrial equipment  *Follows safety regulations and company guidelines *Picks/packs, inspects, and ships merchandise to customers *Accurately performs data entry via PC/RF *Achieves production (UPH) standards in all areas *Achieves quality (IQA) standards in all areas *Works with team members in support of process improvements and cost reductions *Understands team objectives within assigned work area *Applies basic skills and procedural knowledge within assigned work area *Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor *Must be able to assist in any area of merchandise processing during busy periods

QUALIFICATIONS:

*Must be at least 18 years old *Drug screen required *Distribution center experience preferred *Forklift Experience NOT required - we will train you! *No fear of heights - may go up 50ft in the air *Able to lift up to 50lbs *Good time-management and communication skills *Basic math skills and computer skills *Good hand/eye coordination *Ability to work independently or in team as assigned *Good organizational skills and attention to detail *Flexibility - may be required to work in other areas, overtime or extended hours *Understand and follow verbal, written and safety instructions

WORK SCHEDULE:

*2nd Shift *Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm  *Must be availablie to work 3pm-1am when working 10 hour shifts and Saturdays as needed *Overtime as needed
