Description

The Fusion Center (FC) Senior Security Professional focuses and prioritizes work of the contracted FC analyst team, supervises interaction between Humana Safety & Security (HSS) workstreams. The Senior Security Professional reports to the Security Lead and is responsible for producing timely, relevant, accurate, and predictive intelligence across the enterprise while maintaining an operational picture of Humana's security and risk posture. The FC Senior Security Professional evaluates and tracks Humana requirements, focusing collection and analysis efforts, and reviews intelligence products for quality and timeliness.

The FC Senior Security Professional will be responsible for receiving, processing & disseminating risk intelligence and event information, monitors for potential and actual impact to 700 facilities, as well as 75,000 associates and contractors. Responsible for the development and maintenance of Operations Center procedural guidelines, playbooks and procedures. Maintains a readiness posture to respond, process and mitigate emergency events as they develop. Organizes and develops the elements of the Fusion Center to contribute single source information in the development of a common operating picture.

Leads 24/7 Fusion Center operations and serves as initial point of escalation for safety or security issues

Manage new and emerging threats which could threaten member & associate safety, Humana facilities and business operations to include identifying and assessing the impact/likelihood of the threat, coordinating stakeholders' response efforts, escalating and reporting to leadership

Draft written briefings to communicate risk and make recommendations on policy, process to system owners and senior stakeholders.

Supports the development of risk and intelligence products aimed at identifying and mitigating enterprise risks

Provide administrative and operational guidance to contract analyst staff, supports initial and continuous training for analyst staff

Maintain team and operational KPIs, metric dashboards and regular reporting to HSS and senior leadership

Continuously review and maintain intelligence requirements, incident recognition, crisis response, team internal processes, identify gaps and recommend improvements where appropriate

Develops and maintains threat profiles, activity and trends from OSINT, commercial and public sector sources

Continuously develop knowledge of industry best practices and trends through peer benchmarking, industry events/associations and educational opportunities

Maintain emergency action plans for FC team

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree - suitable military or government experience may be a substitute

5 years private sector, military or government experience in a security, operations center, fusion center or similar environment

Experience working in a large-scale, complex, matrixed and fast-paced environment

Advanced critical thinking, analytic writing as well as general verbal and written communication skills

Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship

Highly organized, adapts quickly to changing demands, great attention to detail

Problem-solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently and knows when to escalate

Able to respond to strategic direction, recognize leadership intent and re-prioritize workload accordingly

Strong sense of personal accountability and sound professional judgement, integrity is a must

Flexibility to respond 24/7 to urgent incidents or events

This role will sit in the Humana Tower, located in Louisville, Kentucky.

Preferred Qualifications

PSP/CPP or other security certifications a plus
