The starting pay for this position is $11.25/hr. We have open positions for first shift. Referral bonus available (both new hire and referring Team Member receive a $500 bonus upon the completion of six months’ employment).

This facility operates 5 to 6 days a week with potential for overtime and produces beef and chicken cheesesteak products.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Applicants will be considered for any general production type opening in any department that may include, but not limited to slicing, molding, packing, packaging, sanitation, and shipping

Other tasks include standing, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, kneeling and reaching.

Place raw product into a pan while it’s automatically passed down by the machine.

Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.

Maintain the area by keeping equipment clean and in orderly condition. Follow all safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Candidates must be willing and able to lift, push, carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on the area ranging up to 45 pounds.)

· Candidates must be willing and able to work in slippery, cold and/or damp environments with temperatures ranging from 40 to 55 degrees, but may be much warmer in the mold washing area depending on the temperature outside.

· Candidates must wear steel toe boots, hearing, eye protection, and other required Personal Protective Equipment at all times while on the production floor.

· Candidates must be available to work overtime and weekends.

· All candidates must successfully complete a health assessment and drug screening within 48 hours of receiving a job offer. Those who do not complete or refuse to take the assessment and/or screening will have their offer of employment rescinded.
