Intro: The salary range of this position is $31.00/hr. to $38.75/hr. with a shift increase for second and overtime. Salary is based on individual knowledge and experience.

Position Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position requires proficiency in multiple skill clusters including electricity and electronics, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.

The position will perform high-level machine and systems troubleshooting and repair, assist engineering and plant staff with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems, and provide technical support for all phases of the operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strong skills in document organization, the use of technical materials and research techniques. Ability to create power point, access database & equipment specific computer program content

• Ability to function effectively in a team environment and/or independently, and interact productively with all levels of mgmt.

• Must be flexible regarding work hours and available when needed, overtime required including Saturday & Sunday work.

• Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor such as assisting Buildings and Grounds, and/or Waste Water Systems as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Training beyond high school including either an Associates degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (or closely related technical field), or a combination of education and experience which may include

skilled trades programs or military training.

• Minimum of 2 years training experience and/or industrial maintenance experience. Competent in Windows based software such as Excel and Word, PLC, VFD and AutoCAD Systems. Ethernet networking LAN/WAN, Allen-Bradley software. Must be able to design/modify various types of Ladder control logic & HMI terminals programming.

• Four (4) years of automation experience and/or industrial maintenance experience.

• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all team members.

• Must possess the ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations personnel, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with strong interpersonal skills.

• Certification: Certifications in any technical field or techniques is a plus.

• Supervisory: N/A

• Travel: 1-2 trips per year

• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently

• Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day

• Ability to work in confined spaces, walk, climb, and stoop

• Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling

• Basic Math skills: percentages, fractions, and measurements

• Must be able to work weekends and overtime

• Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification

• Position will require Personal Protection Equipment

• Frequent overhead work

• Temperature ranges from 40-75 degrees
