CVP Machine Operator - Stick Line 2nd Shift

Profile

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Standing, walking, lifting 80 lbs. maximum, bending, reaching, handling, seeing, pushing, and pulling. Basic computer skills, good communication skills (verbal and Written). Solve simple math, and dependable. Candidate will need to operate machinery when needed (peeler and CVP machine). Must be willing to work in a fast moving environment to assure that all tasks are completed.

Must be willing to communicate well with all other team members, problem-solving and critical thinking. Must be willing to work in cold environments temperatures ranging from (25 to 35 degrees). Willing to work weekends, holidays and flexible to changing shift when needed.

Successful candidate must have good work ethic. Candidate must possess the ability to adapt to changing work priorities and work situations.

You must have at least 6 months of work history with 1 employer in the last 24 months.
