Safety is always first with Tyson! As part of our ongoing safety culture all Team Members are responsible for following SAFETY Rules and Policies.

SAFETY Program will teach, train, and instruct Team Members on the safest and most effect way to perform job tasks

All Personal Protection Equipment will be provided for Team Members at no charge.

Providing time away from work is necessary for all Team Members to have a healthy work life balance. Tyson offers nine (9) paid holidays, vacation, as well as a leave of absence program.

Entry level positions, with no special skills required are available. On the job training will be provided to develop skills needed to promote into higher level positions. Candidates will be considered for any general labor type opening on Night shift. Candidates will be given the chance to observe open jobs being performed by current Team Members as part of the hiring process, and able to ask any questions concerning the process. Some jobs do require using a knife or scissors to perform the job tasks. Working environments is around 55 degrees in some parts of the facility and warmer depending which department the tasks are being performed. Team Members must be willing to move about the department, bend, stretch, reach, climbing (some jobs are performed at an elevated height) as needed to complete the task of the job. Some tasks could require pushing, pulling and/or lifting up to 50 pounds. Depending on the needs of our customers some weekend and/or over time may be necessary.
