WHAT’S THE ROLE
On a day to day basis, Maintenance Mechanics are involved with the following activities;
Repair, install, calibrate, test and clean plant equipment in accordance to Standard Operating Plan, Daily Operating Instructions and Standing Instructions and Site Health, Safety, Security, Environment procedures
Identify and implement equipment improvements to increase plant reliability
Communicate verbally and in writing to operations employees, supervisors and others regarding the identification of problems and completion of jobs in their area
Manage plant and equipment upsets, abnormal conditions and subsequent troubleshooting including incidents/plant emergencies and subsequent follow-up
Repair and maintenance of equipment will require welding, rigging, and use of hand tools
Contribute to keeping process materials records and to maintaining good housekeeping practices
Keep log records of operational activities for equipment history and tracking
Conduct equipment repairs, specifically rebuilding rotating equipment, repairing valves, and installing piping

Requirements:
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Must have 5 years current experience as a Mechanic or Millwright in an industrial environment or have completed (documented) training and/or certification in plant maintenance /millwright in an industrial or military environment
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work visa
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have the minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Must possess a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently
Willing to work outside in inclement weather with or without accommodation
Willing to climb ladders, walk up and down steps, and work at heights with or without accommodation
Willing to work a rotating shift work schedule
Willing to work overtime, holidays, nights, and weekends
Willing to be on call and meet call-out standards to respond to site responsibilities and emergencies
To attend to emergencies, successful candidates must reside within 90 minutes of the site, or be willing to relocate to within 90 minutes of the site without relocation assistance
As a part of the pre-employment selection process, candidates are required to submit to and receive satisfactory results from all pre-employment background, drug, medical, and reference checks, including hair and oral drug testing
