Maintenance Manager for Pilgrims Protein Conversion / Wet Pet Food Ingredient Division\u00A0The Maintenance Manager has overall responsibility for driving continuous improvement strategies and coordinating initiatives along with the management of the maintenance activities across the entire facility. The person in this role will coordinate the rollout, development and implementation of Factory Performance & Reliability Standards and the maintenance strategy. The individual will work closely with the Leadership team, key business unit resources and team members to factory performance.Responsibilities:Streamline productivity by applying continuous improvement tools to ensure seamless operations within and between shifts.Utilizing the input of the leadership team and operations personnel along with developing and implementing maintenance strategies.Design and manage continuous improvement initiatives.Develop a mechanism for driving and tracking improvements.Lead, guide, facilitate, and work with plant task forces, production/maintenance team members, vendors, etc. to implement and resolve identified and prioritized improvement projects.Improves factory cash flow by effectively managing operating expenses, capital expenditures and inventory.Develop and implement the planned maintenance system.Ensures the development of people, teams, and organizational capabilities by empowering team members through training, information sharing, coaching, feedback, appraisals, and delegation.Participates and assists in training personnel in CGMPs including food safety and quality practices. Ensures food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are adopted and maintained.Ensures employees are cross \u2013trained and capable of performing the assigned position(s) \u2013 maintains job registry and training documentation to attest to food safety and quality compliance. CGMP and food safety training are completed on an annual basis for all employees.
