Description

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 Dr. Call Phones Team: Typically works on semi-routine assignments. This is an incoming call center setting. Technicians are responsible for taking incoming phones calls from providers for New Rx's, clarifications or transfers as outlined by standard policies. Full Time with Work at Home option.

Responsibilities

The Dr. Call Phones Pharmacy Technician works from home in a call center capacity and provides resolution for prescriptions that are considered incomplete, invalid, or contain clinical issues preventing the fulfillment of the request.

In this role you will:

Inbound and Outbound calls

Take inbound calls come from physician's offices and from members

Make outbound calls to providers

Make outbound calls/faxes to retail pharmacies

Follow up on new prescription requests and transfers

Outbound calls to physician offices to follow up on needed clarifications

Calls can be for new prescriptions, clarifications or general questions about prescription processing

Work Hours: Arizona - 8:30 a - 5:00 p Arizona ; TX - 10:30 a - 7:00 p Central (hours will change with daylight savings time)

Required Qualifications

Must have an active Pharmacy Technician or Tech in Training license in Arizona or Texas

National Certification CPhT (PTCB or ExCPT)

Experience as a Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Technician in Training OR call center experience in a pharmacy or related call center setting

Excellent communication skills

Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously

A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service

High School diploma or GED

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Home Office : a dedicated secure home workspace, and high-speed internet (minimum connection speed of 10m x 1m)

Associates working in the state of Arizona must comply with the Tobacco Free Hiring Policy (see details below under Additional Information) and upon offer will be subjected to nicotine testing as part of a 10 panel drug test

Preferred Qualifications

Mail Order Pharmacy or Retail Pharmacy experience

Experience working with insurance plans and Medicare
