Maintenance Technician\u00A0Purpose & Scope:\u00A0 The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the facility\u2019s business goals and objectives. Including, installation, repairs, adjustments and maintenance of all equipment and machinery with in the facility..\u00A0 Must be willing to work any shif\u00A0Principle Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.1.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the facility\u2019s equipment.2.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.3.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.4.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.5.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.6.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.7.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.8.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.9.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.10.\u00A0 Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.11.\u00A0 Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.12.\u00A0 Perform tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A013.\u00A0 Must be willing to work any shiftEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); Prior experience in maintenance\u00A0systems or equivalent degree from a technical school or equivalent combination of education\u00A0and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.\u00A0MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,\u00A0common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and\u00A0interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written,\u00A0oral, or diagram form.
