Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

LO/TO Specialists are responsible for performing verifications of the Panel Room books, making any updates or changes, updating the books and making copies of the changes. Specialists are responsible for reviewing and auditing existing lockout/tagout forms on an annual basis. Specialists are responsible for working with management in updating procedure forms on any new or modified plant equipment. Specialists will also be responsible for any other duties or tasks as assigned by manager.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of (6) months of industrial mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program. The 6 months of work experience must be at one employer.

Experience: Must be familiar with respective areas

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with experience in Adobe preferred

Communication Skills: Must have the necessary communication skills to understand instructions received via radio, the ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions/work orders and correctly complete all job related paperwork

Supervisory: N/A

Travel: N/A
