Description
The Security Professional 2 reports to the Senior Security Professional and is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operational cadence of tasks in the Fusion Center to support the Fusion Center mission of avoiding disruptions, reducing overall risk, and promoting the safety and security of Humana associates and facilities.
The Security Professional 2 is responsible for all administrative activities for a team of five Fusion Center Analysts, maintains the development and a high standard of Fusion Center products, and understands Humana business functions to adequately support Fusion Center customer needs.

Staff assigned day shift to support Fusion Center operations
Maintain subject matter expertise on intelligence cycle, intelligence collection methodologies, Fusion Center policies and procedures, as well as Humana enterprise business functions
Identify and escalate documentation gaps in existing procedures
Provide quality assurance for all Fusion Center products to include editing, constructive feedback, and regular review of standard products for relevance and applicability
Maintain writing and editorial guidelines for Fusion Center; provide additional writing support and training to analysts when needed
Support the development and maintenance of risk and intelligence products aimed at identifying and mitigating enterprise risks
Support Senior Security Professional as needed with strategic projects or initiatives
Collaborate with Crisis Risk Management team, to include participation in wider enterprise crisis events
Effectively provide communication updates; demonstrate superb communication skills to set the communication standard for the rest of the Fusion Center team
Think critically to further support the development of Fusion Center risk program
Support intake of safety and security concerns across the enterprise; triage and cascade said concerns to appropriate members of safety and security team
Participation in proper information flow to internal & external entities as they relate to events, projects, or incidents
Assist in training and onboarding of Fusion Center analysts to ensure smooth transition to Fusion Center team
Assist in administrative management of Fusion Center team
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree ,suitable military or government experience
3 years professional experience, ideally in the security field
Comfortable mentoring a team of early-career analysts
Ability to think critically about complex problems as they arise
Candidates must display high level of integrity and professional judgement
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to provide solutions and achieve desired business outcomes
Excellent communication skills through written and verbal means; ability to brief out on complex intelligence topics to wide range of leaders and business lines
Strong background in producing strategic intelligence products; understands impact of global safety and security events on business and clearly articulates to corporate consumers.
Ability to work in rapidly changing environments, stay calm under pressure and be adaptable to unpredictable circumstances and shifting priorities
Flexibility to respond to on-call scenarios, off hours requests
A team player that can work within a team of diverse backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Experience in corporate security, intelligence or investigative functions
Familiarity with security technologies, access control, CCTV, etc.
Familiarity with open-source intelligence collection methods, the intelligence cycle, risk assessments or other security themes
Bilingual ( English & Spanish)
