Essential Functions: Research and develops resolutions to unknown issues for critical systems equipment. Troubleshoots to diagnose problems using diagnostic equipment. Develops and trains equipment maintenance staff. Assists lower level team members with issue resolution. Specifies, designs, and sources facility equipment based on company needs. Approves, reviews, install, and reports preventive maintenance for critical systems equipment. Obtains quotes from vendors and suppliers when necessary. Acts as liaison and coordinates with clients to obtain and develop engineering projects. Develops and implements cost reduction initiatives. Prepares detailed proposals and engineering estimates. Reviews project budget cost and prepares opinions of probable construction costs. Assesses existing conditions, plans and design builds mechanical systems, including but not limited to dust collection and compressed air. Writes project reports, gathers information, defines and drafts scopes of work, drafts correspondence, tracks project costs, and completes progress reports. Reviews Contractor\u2019s shop drawing and submittals regarding building mechanical work. Investigates and develops engineered solutions to Contractor\u2019s Requests for Information. Researches equipment specifications and proposes initiative facility improvement solutions. Inspects completed installations and observes operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. Conducts and documents regular critical systems inspections to ensure conditions adhere to established standards for continuous production. Adheres to best practices processes to increase efficiency. Places orders for spare parts and equipment for replacement. Reviews the operation of critical facility equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and identify opportunities for improvement. Participates in the installation of facility equipment projects from conceptual planning to completion. Collaborates with appropriate teams to coordinate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and special systems designs. Creates compressed air and vacuum as-built drawings for previous projects, areas and buildings for historical records. Creates preventative maintenance documents as directed by management. Collaborates with and supports construction and maintenance teams. Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols, and wears protective equipment as required. Performs other related duties and projects as business need require at the direction of management. Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum five (5) years of industrial equipment maintenance experience.Special Requirements/Certification: Valid driver\u2019s license and acceptable driving record. Certification in a maintenance specialty, a plus.
