Overview
Our growing company is seeking to hire a Quality Planning Technician. This position you will provide administrative assistance to Quality Engineers. The Quality Planning Technician executes the PPAP submittal process for the assigned customer accounts and/or part number under the direction of the Quality Engineering Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Completes & submits all PPAP documentation to customers such as Control Plan, PMFEA, Process Flow, and ISIR\u2019s.
Lead and facilitate APQP process.
Loads part numbers into the Quality App and maintain job tracking for new part launch and engineering changes.
Communicates engineering changes to the quality lab technicians by entering information in the Quality App.
Performs various clerical duties such as copying, scanning, and filing data.
Maintains manual and/or computerized filing systems of quality data.
Requests and files material and finish certification documents from suppliers.
Issue\u2019s rejections to suppliers (SCAR).
Issue\u2019s internal rejections (NCR).
Participates within cross functional team for 8D\u2019s and Root Cause Corrective Action for internal and external non-conformances.
Involved within internal & external audits such as LPA\u2019s, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001.

What Does It Take to Be a Fit for This Role?
High School Diploma and previous experience is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency with MS office software applications. Demonstrated ability to learn and apply various software.
Solid organizational and time management skills as well as have the ability to meet deadlines with appropriate attention to detail in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment.
Experience in a manufacturing setting along with quality and or engineering related role.
