SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing cost effective maintenance and safety programs for the Refrigerated Warehouse Maintenance Departments. This includes holding operating costs at lowest possible levels using energy management tools training of Hazmat Response Team members and tracing and preparing all monthly operational cost figures including the pallet moving equipment and dock rinse-out bay and auto truck wash. Other responsibilities include purchasing and keeping records of all maintenance supplies establishing PM programs for all equipment and assisting Maintenance Supervisors in personal matters. Other duties may include consulting with other plants on problems with refrigeration or pallet moving equipment providing and implementing budget schedules for Capital Improvements and performing other responsibilities as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 3 plus years of experience. Computer Skills: Standard computer skills Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory: This position is responsible for managing several groups of personnel who perform diverse tasks and activities in more than one department. Travel: 1 to 5 domestic trips per year.
