Shift: A, B, C, D shifts -one per shift

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing janitorial tasks with the objective of keeping assigned areas in a clean, orderly, safe, and attractive condition. These duties include using forklift to move pallets in order to sweep, scrub or mop floors, vacuuming carpet, polishing and dusting, washing windows, emptying garbage, and replacing liners, removal of garbage to designated area, spot cleaning carpets, deep cleaning restroom facilities, and sanitizing all drinking fountains, refill all restroom dispensers, and buffing or waxing of hard floors. The position also includes patrolling and general security of complex buildings nightly: verifying exit doors are locked after business hours. Special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:Education: High School diploma, GED, a vocational school or equivalent.Experience: Janitorial custodian experience preferred. Applicant must have 6 months of work experience in the past 12 months from a single employer.Communication Skills: Good communication skills be able to accurately relay information.

Special Skills: Must have the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion ability to exercise good judgment and decision making. Knowledge of how to operate a buffing machine a plus.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds frequently.

We run four shifts. The shifts are:

A: Sunday-Wed days

B: Sunday-Wed nights

C: Wed-Sat. days

D: Wed-Sat nights
