Boiler Maintenance Technician

We are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for all new hires. The starting pay for this position is $22.74/hour up to $32.48/hour with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. There is potential to progress quickly within levels based on completed training and demonstrated skills on the job.

Description

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Boiler Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance of all plant equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. This position works in a cold, damp, hot and humid environment with slippery surfaces. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing pulling and reaching are required to include work on ladders. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.

Requirements

Maintenance positions require one year of experience in industrial maintenance. Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends. Your application is only active for this requisition (job). To be considered for other positions, you will need to apply to each open requisition.
