Job Details:

This position is responsible for operating a specific piece of equipment in an assigned area for efficient production while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for the operation of the Embrex machine. This includes preparing the equipment for start-up; placing egg trays on equipment for vaccination; stacking the egg trays in the hatcher after they are run through the machine; visually inspecting product for quality and condition. Will be responsible for ensuring sanitation requirements are met and the work area is kept clean. Standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, pushing, pulling, operating all controls and systems. Will be required to work in inclement conditions; hot, cool, humid, wet, warm and dusty environment. Will be required to complete all other tasks assigned by management.

This position will work Tuesday and Wednesday 9 am – until; Saturday and Sunday 8 am – until. Applicant must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility. Must have 1-year equipment operations experience. Will be required to communicate with managers and Team Members both orally, verbally and in writing as required. Will be required to carry up to 40 lbs. Will be required to work flexible hours as needed. Must follow all Tyson Foods policies to include Animal Welfare and Biosecurity guidelines.
