Temperanceville Forklift Opr Night shift Loading Dock

Profile

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Fork Lift Driver Loading Dock Load trailers in proper order. Responsible for using proper code dates when unloading trailers. Ensure that product requested is put on trailer when available. Properly store product in receiving cooler. Maintain clean coolers at all times. Report any damage done to trailers coolers, freezer, forklift or product immediately. Ensure that trailer doors are shut and unit is turned on if load is not finished at end of shift. Ensure that all paperwork is complete, neat and accurate before turning it in. All other duties as assigned, by supervisor or lead.

Moving up to 70 pounds of product during duration of the shift. Capable of operating a forklift. Capable of visually inspecting product by the box or pallet. Good hand/eye coordination. Very cold environment, slippery surfaces. Capable of working in excess of 8 hours per shift and up to 6 or 7 days per week when required.
