IS Services Technician

Jordan's Furniture, the premier furniture and mattress retailer in New England and a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, is adding an IS Services Technician to our team.

The IS Services Technician provides technical assistance to employees for all company information systems and maintains the BridgeIT units in all Sleep Labs. This position will be based in Nashua, NH but will require tavel to Reading and Natick, MA and other locations as needed.

The hours of this position is Monday- Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs the BridgeIT units, hardware and software in all Sleep Labs.

Responds to and completes employee requests for technical assistance in a timely manner

Enters hardware and software problems and resolutions including the BridgeIT units into the IS Services database

Monitors and addresses open IS Services tickets daily

Creates new and modifies documentation for IS Services procedures for the IS Services Resolution Database

Repairs and configures equipment and installs software as directed

Maintains a sufficient understanding of the commercial and custom written software applications used in the company

Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English

May be required to drive to other locations to perform work duties

Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications

1-2 years prior experience in the same or similar capacity

Industry standard certifications are preferred but not required

Excellent interpersonal skills

Effective oral and written communication skills

Intermediate computer skills
