Profile

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Job Description: This position is responsible for the maintenance of equipment at the Feed Mill.

Job Synopsis: This position is responsible for maintaining all equipment and track mobile at feed mill. The equipment includes pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum systems, and particle reducing equipment, track mobile, scales, truck, and rail. Position also includes diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and installing electrical motors and welding as needed. This position will perform preventive maintenance and installation of new equipment during the weekends.

1 year or more of Maintenance experience

In depth knowledge of screw transferring systems.

Ability to work with 480 volt 3 phase electricity

Experience with pneumatics, hydraulic, and electrical automated process control systems

Ability to weld using appropriate tools accordingly

Must be willing and able to obtain a boiler operator’s license.

Must be able and willing to work at heights of 160 feet.

Must be Safety Oriented (learning and following LOTO Program)

Must be willing to work 12 hour shifts, rotating days off

Must be willing to stoop, bend, climb ladders, and work overhead

Must be willing to work in cold and or hot temperatures

Must be willing to get work done lifting up to 100 pounds

Must be willing to stand and walk all shifts.

Must be willing to work weekends as needed
