Job Description

This position is responsible for the transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel-powered tractor/trailer combinations short and/or long distances, while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Live Haul Driver must be willing to pick up a trailer loaded with empty cages and transport them to the poultry farm. Once on the farm the Live Haul Driver must be willing to unbind the cages which will allow the cages to be unloaded. Once loaded the cages are then filled and restacked and loaded back onto the trailer and the Live Haul Driver must be willing to binds the load of cages and transports them to the processing plant and drops the trailer at the live haul shed. Must be willing to lift 40 lbs. occasionally and must be willing to work in and be exposed to outside temperatures and environment. Must be able willing to sit for 8 to 10 hours a day; must be willing to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend and stoop occasionally.

Requirements

Applicants must be able to maintain operational records, must report any safety concerns to supervisor, must maintain DOT records daily and must maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations. Applicants must be 21 years of age and have at least one year of driving experience. Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL. Applications are only active for the current month in which you applied. You will need to reapply next month to have an active application and be considered.

SIGN ON BONUS OF $5000

Applicants must be able to work any shift. Will sometimes be required to come in early or stay over late.
