Reports To:

Pro Shop Manager

Summary The purpose of this position is to provide quality customer service at the Neosho Golf Course by assisting in the operations of the City’s Pro Shop and concessions. Additionally, this position is responsible for cart cleanliness, staging, preparing for guests, and ensuring carts are returned in good working condition.

Supervision Received and Exercised Reports to the Pro Shop Manager. Exercises no supervision.

General Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Greet all guests with a helpful and professional manner.

Handle Pro Shop related sales, rentals, fees, and performs cashier duties.

Help keep all working areas attractive, clean, and free of trash and waste.

Stock all Pro Shop and concession items.

Conduct inventory of Pro Shop.

Ensures cleanliness and sanitary condition of Pro Shop, concessions, inventory, and event room to comply with Health Department standards.

Provide excellent customer service to the public.

Responsible for washing the golf carts, cart barns, bathrooms, and range balls to maintain their cleanliness and usability.

Follow procedures for proper opening and closing of the cart and range operations.

Arrange carts orderly and without clogging passing areas.

Inspect the condition of golf carts with specific attention to their cleanliness and appearance.

Responsible for cart cleanliness, cart supplies, cart condition and fueling. As well as the rotation of golf carts to ensure uniform usage amongst the fleet.

Pick driving range.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be 18 years or older and should have met the following qualifications:

Knowledge of:

Basic mathematics.

Cash handling

MS Office applications.

Time Management.

Health Department codes and regulations.

Golf rules and regulations.

Ability to:

Abide by Health Department regulations and State of Missouri Laws.

Establish and maintain a positive work environment with the public and fellow employees.

Provide positive customer service.

Effectively resolve concerns or complaints.

Work alone without direct supervision.

Ability to work in outside temperatures of all elements regularly.

Handle cash and credit card transactions.

Conduct inventory.

Follow all safety rules and regulations.

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent required.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply detailed and involved written or oral instructions.

Coordinate multiple goals simultaneously.

Demonstrate excellent work ethic and integrity.

hysical Demands Position may include walking, standing, bending, or crouching for extended periods of time. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects of various weight, with the use of proper equipment.

Work Environment Work is performed in an office setting and outside amid normal conditions of dust, odors, fumes, and noises and involves a considerable amount of public contact.

Training

Continually participate in additional training related to job as requested by supervisor.

Ability to apply new techniques from staff training.

Required

Valid driver's license.

Successful completion of a background investigation, physical exam, and drug test.

Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
