a Laboratory Technician 4. In this role, you will be supporting Incoming Quality
personnel via technical expertise and guidance, as they test raw materials used
to manufacture diagnostic reagents, intermediates, and materials that will be
used by clinical labs on Atellica, Centaur, and Centaur CP automation platforms.You will report to the Production Supervisor of Incoming
Quality.This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional,
looking for the next step in their career. As a Laboratory Technician 4, you will be
responsible for:  Inspection and release
raw materials to the warehouse for use in manufacturing.Auditing raw material
batch records and performing raw material release in SAP.Working in the
laboratory performing raw material testing such as: running the Centaur,
preparing dilutions, performing small scale manufacturing, UV/VIS testing,
protein and albumin analysis, and gel electrophoresis.Maintaining and
calibrating laboratory equipment when required.Working with biological
fluids of human and animal origin, as well as hazardous materials.Obtaining and analyzing
large volumes of complex data needed to complete raw material testing and
troubleshooting activities.Support new product
launch by participating on Technology Transfer teams and reviewing new
materials specification procedures.Participating in and
investigating issues associated with raw materials, immunoassay reagents, and
testing components.Effectively
communicating investigation summaries and provide solutions to relevant stake
holders.Authoring and executing
validation protocols and reports.Overtime and off-shift
work may be required.This position may suit you best if you

years job related experience (may include time in an advanced degree).Good
understanding and knowledge quality regulations and cGMP.Demonstrated
ability to interpret data.Exceptional
attention to detail.Strong
work ethic, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to work
in a high pace team setting as well as independently.Must
be flexible and demonstrate the ability to switch priorities to meet business
needs.Proficiency
