Profile

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks include: Operate lathe, drill press, grinders, welders (MIG, TIG, OXY-ACETYLENE), and other machine shop equipment. Including calipers, micrometers, and rulers; study blueprints or written plans of the part to be made; set up and prepare for large project; cut metal stock using a variety of tools, drill presses; shaping and smoothing parts; and complete other duties assigned by Management. Trouble-shoot items associated with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and mechanical systems. Perform simple wiring of motors (3-phase and single-phase), switches, relays, push-buttons, photo eyes, and other electrical components.

To be considered, applicants must have: Minimum of one-year Maintenance experience, minimum of one year welding experience (MIG, TIG, OXY-Acetylene), and a minimum of two years Bridgeport Mill and Lathe experience.
